Growing up in Colorado I came to hate tourist trap colorado crap. They would just pump out this super basic colorado gear. Nothing that was worthy of what Colorado meant to me. The sheer beauty, the awe-inspiring views, the people that find themselves here, the power of the solitude in the vast expanses of Mother Nature found here. Mentally I decided that since I couldn’t find what I was looking for I was going to create it.
This design takes me to a time in my life when I hadn’t created in years. Every time I would go to draw I simply couldn’t do it. I would just get frustrated and then wouldn’t draw anything. I was traveling and just purchased a tablet. Sitting in the terminal with nothing else to do. Determined to push past any creative block. I started and kept at it until it was done.
It was the first sticker that I ever created. People loved it. I love it. It is always awesome seeing friends rocking the gear that I have designed.
